IB Eligibility Criteria
Rationale for New Policy: The FCAT NRT Test has been eliminated by the Florida Dept. of Education. Scores from the FCAT SSS Test will now be used for entrance purposes. FCAT SSS cut-offs were established based on equivalency with FCAT NRT required scores (Stanine 7 for Reading and Math).
Minimum Qualifying Scores for IB Program
*This policy would apply to students applying during the 2009-10 school year for admittance to the IB Program for 2010-11. For students enrolled in 08-09 and applying for admittance in 2009-10 (based on 07-08 scores), minimum score requirements will be either the FCAT NRT minimums (Stanine = 7 for both Reading and Math) or the FCAT SSS minimums above.
