Summer School

It is the ultimate goal of The School District of Lee County that every student completes their curriculum requirements to be eligible to graduate from high school. If students have not met the curriculum requirements for the required academic course(s) needed, they are required to repeat the course(s) as part of the requirements to successfully graduate from high school.

We are happy to have the opportunity to serve students this summer to help them retrieve their credits in our summer school programs. Students may either sign up for classes on Lee Virtual/Florida Virtual School and/or elect to participate in our school-based Edgenuity program, which will take place from June 24 – July 22, 2021. This year our school-based Edgenuity program will take place virtually. Students may qualify if they meet the below criteria:

  • A “D” or “F” in an academic course required for graduation
  • Unweighted GPA below a 2.0
  • Not met the online course requirement for graduation

If you are interested in having your student participate in our school-based Edgenuity program, please contact his or her assigned counselor by Friday, June 18, to reserve a spot, as we have limited space. Students may sign up for classes on Lee Virtual/Florida Virtual School at the following link: https://ar.flvs.net/Routing.aspx?from=vsa
